Hi
One of my all time favorite movies is Bram Stokers Dracula by Francis Ford Coppola.
I wonder if anyone here knows what Dracula says when he calls to the wolf in Romanian. Its the scene when Dracula and Mina watches the cinematograf.
Thanks for the help

I am not completely sure, I was wondering that myself though. Just the other week I was watching it and for the first time realized that he referred to the Wolf as a "Stragoi", which I thought was a cool addition to the story line. (Unless this was intended in the original story?) But I believe it is implied that he calms the wolf/ spirit to show his gentle side while also hinting at his powers. _________________ I have crossed oceans of time to find you.

Hi, thanks for the answer.
I just read this.."Stregoni benefici-Italian Vampires who were blessed by Catholic priest to destroy evil vampires according to vampire mythology." and "The Stregoni B. is a vampire whom feeded when has to but doesn’t kill."
So he named his wolf after the myth?

hm, interesting. I've only heard of the plain everyday stragoi. Although I know there is different types. _________________ I have crossed oceans of time to find you.
