You are right, Sighisoara is maybe the closest place to Dracula, being his native town. In fact, you should be surprised to see that the historical connection between Vlad Dracula and Bran Castle, is almost...non existent!

You are right, Sighisoara is maybe the closest place to Dracula, being his native town. In fact, you should be surprised to see that the historical connection between Vlad Dracula and Bran Castle, is almost...non existent!

If you want to find Dracula, go to his homeland. Makes sense to me! I love the rich culture and historical preservation of Sighisoara. Walking through those streets make me feel like I've been in a time machine and was flown back to a few hundred years ago. I highly recommend the trip. It looks just like the photos here. Don't forget to pack your passport and your worldwide medical insurance.
