Bela Lugosi shot to stardom in the title role of the 1931 film version of Bram Stoker's Dracula and set the standard for movie vampires. In 1931 Dracula became known world wide thanks to the movie Dracula produced by Universal Studios, based on the Bram Stoker's novel with similar name. After the movie, people tried to find out who was the real Dracula, so many books and documentaries appeared in order to give more information about the person who inspired the character of Dracula from the novel: Vlad Tepes.
